Many people are experiencing change in their lives during these uncertain economic times. None of us really likes change... unless it is positive. People losing their jobs, their homes, their families and their dignity is not the kind of change that is positive. But there is more to life than things, even when the necessities are running low. It is during these difficult times that people must reach out to God and ask his divine intervention. How do I know that God intervenes? Because he has done that through a simple food program that he placed in our hands that was never even a fleeting thought in my deepest imagination.
Ruby's Pantry was God's idea. I take zero credit for it! But He knew in times like this there would be a need for an organization such as this to help meet the food need in this economic famine. This isn't anything new to God. Throughout history he has prepared people for famine without them realizing it and using it to His good. God will use these hard times to His honor and glory as millions of people around the world will reconnect to their faith.
